The entire line of standard fish oils and omega 3 fish oil concentrates from Ocean Nutrition Canada (ONC), Bedford, Nova Scotia, Canada, has been certified through the U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) certification program. Eleven of ONC’s omega 3 fish oil ingredient products underwent USP’s auditing process, which included independent quality and safety analysis by USP, an on-site GMP audit and an analysis of support documentation tracing the history of each product back to the original source of raw material, and each lot’s history back three generations.
